Lunar Sanctuaries is a mixed-media series rooted in photography, created solely on an iPhone 11/16 using double exposure. The work combines observed and constructed elements to create spaces that feel both real and imagined.

The full moon becomes a recurring presence within an increasingly unstable world. Sometimes it offers stillness; other times it transforms the landscape into something uncertain, dreamlike, or quietly otherworldly.

In some images, intentional pixelation introduces texture that mimics brushstrokes, pushing the work toward abstraction.

Together, the images suggest a pause—an in-between space to step back and reflect.
